Give 'em Hell, Alabama!!! # 1 Baby!!!
Even though I've been quite busy lately and not able to post about my beloved Crimson Tide, I'm sure most of you know that they are #1 in the Country.
Not only that, but we skunked our in-state rivals (AUBURN) this weekend and I couldn't be more happy right now!!
I had so many people come in Saturday morning that were Tiger fans talking smack and really truly confident that they were going to beat us. HA!
Of course, I argued with them and told them that they didn't have a chance in hell unless Bama came out and played like tards.
Not only did we beat them, we beat them 36-NADA.
Yesterday I had to work and let me tell you, it was CARAZY!!! We had 30/40 people outside about 30 minutes before we opened and one woman harassing me as I was unlocking the door an hour and fifteen minutes before we opened. But, I'll take it. I had to work last year selling Auburn victory shirts and this year was much better. Not only did we double the sells this year from last year, we sold over half of the shirts we ordered and sold out COMPLETELY of one of the designs in the first hour.
Now it's off to the Georgia Dome to play the Gators. And I'm not a crazy bama fan. I know that we will have to play our tails off to beat Florida. But, as this article says, we DO HAVE A CHANCE.
For now though, I'm going to revel in the greatness of an Iron Bowl win, finishing the regular season undefeated and being SEC West Champs. Maybe Friday I'll let my happiness subside and start worrying about the next task at hand.
ROLLLLLLLLLLLLL TIDE ROLLLLLLLL!!

I know some of you think I've skipped out, but I promise I'm still here.
I'm here, just busy.
Life right now is moving so fast that I can barely keep up. Don't believe me? Maybe I should take a picture of all my laundry that needs washing and folding. That would convince you.
It all started Thursday and has pretty much kept up its pace since.
Thursday night (OR was it Tuesday? I forget), my computer got a virus. I could search anything as long as it wasn't McAfee or Norton, or anything to do with removing said virus. After trying til 2 am, I gave up.
Friday morning I got up, got dressed, got the kids to school, and headed to work. I got off at 1, picked up the kids, cleaned my house a bit, packed to head to my mom's house, and then was back at work by 3:30. After I got off work, we headed to my mom's and arrived there at 10:45.
Saturday was all about helping my mom prepare our Thanksgiving dinner then eating said dinner, followed by a nap. Later that evening, we watched the #2 team in the nation get their hineys handed to them by the #5 team.
Sunday we had to be at Mark's mom's by 1 and didn't get home til 10.
Yesterday was Zach's Thanksgiving Musical at school and then I had to work.
Tonight I'm going to see Twilight, then the rest of my week looks like this.
Wednesday-work 9-1 then 5-9, while trying to get some cooking done and laundry caught up.
Thursday-eat at 11 with Mark's mom/family, then head to his dads/grandparents.
Friday--get up at the butt crack of dawn to get a few good deals, work at 11, and then possibly getting our Christmas shopping done.
Saturday--work from 9-2 then watching my beloved Crimson Tide play our arch rival.
Sunday--work all day, hopefully selling tons of Gameday shirts to Bama fans.
So forgive me please if I'm a little AWOL this week, I promise to get back to normal the next.
Oh, and I messed up last week. There will be NO TASTY THURSDAY this week!!! I figure we will all be a bit busy that day.

Tasty Thursday: Nov. 20th

Since Thanksgiving is upon us, I thought why not share one of my favorite recipes for the occasion.
Here in the South, we don't eat Stuffing, we eat Dressing. And personally, I wouldn't have it any other way. Slap some Cranberry Sauce on that stuff and I'm in hog heaven (or chicken heaven).
Ingredients
* 1 cup butter
* 2 cups onions, chopped
* 2 cups celery, chopped
* 1/4 cup fresh parsley
* 6 ounces fresh mushrooms, sliced
* 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
* 12 slices white bread, toasted and cut into cubes
* 1 teaspoon poultry seasoning
* 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
* 1 1/2 teaspoons sage
* 1 teaspoon dried thyme
* 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
* 1/2 teaspoon dried marjoram
* 4 cups chicken broth
* 1 large egg, beaten
* 6 boneless skinless chicken breasts, pan seared with choice seasonings (optional)
Directions
1.Melt butter in a skillet. Saute onion, celery, mushroom, bacon and parsley.
2. Pour sauteed vegetables over bread cubes in a very large mixing bowl. Add all seasonings and toss together.
3. Pour in enough broth to moisten, depending on how dry your bread cubes are. Add beaten eggs, and mix together well.
4. Pack stuffing lightly into slow cooker (laying the seared breasts in between if using), and cover. Set to High for 30 minutes then reduce to Low to cook for 4-6 hours.
I hope that you all have a Wonderful and TASTY Thanksgiving, and don't forget to meet me back here next week for Tasty Thursday: Soup/Stew Edition.

I didn't disappear, ON PURPOSE!!
Thursday, I got a virus on my laptop.
I thought that I would be able to fix it and not have to lose my stuff, but I was wrong.
I had to completely reinstall my operating system and wipe my computer out. I lost my pictures, videos, etc.
While I lost all of that, I'm glad that I was able to save myself from complete disaster. And luckily, I have most of my pictures on here and other sites.
So, I'm back and will start posting regularly again ASAP! Did y'all miss me?
